BLUE LAGOON – PADANGBAI
The most famous diving and snorkeling site in Padang bay area. This dive site is just next to the ferry channel dive site. A very small bay with a white sandy beach to the bottom gently slopes with hard and soft coral formations. Bellow 12meters/40 feet the white sand with a few corals is the home for some great critters, like stingray, flounder, nudibranch, anemone with the sexy shrimps, Nemo, scorpionfish, ghost pipefish, blue-ribbon eel, and a lot more to see here. It is one of the best places for a macro photographer due to the city of critters divers call it.
To the east of the bay, you will find the drop-off. A vertical wall that starts from the surface straight down deep to a maximum of 25 meters, and sandy slope.
